In November Jake, who also played in another band, with only Christian Henriksen on sax and lead vocalist Ole P. Hillerup, put the whole gang together. Due to different ambitions levels, Rene Soernsen had to leave, what in the meanwhile had become PH5. Winter 1988 3 December First gig at Thuroe Skole for 19 people. 16 December Ph5's 2nd gig at Marstal Centralskole for about 100 attendances. 22 December Ph5 played with a huge success at Svendborg Handelsskole for more than 1.000 people. 31 December New year celebrated at a private party in Vester Haesinge, where Ph5 gave an small intimate concert. Spring 1989 3 Marts PH5 gig at Faaborg Gymnasium. After the gig PH5 carried all the gear to a private party and jammed all night. 16 Marts The PH5 circus played at Thuroe Skole in front of only 50 attendances. Though, it was up until then the best paid gig. 7-9 April PH5´s only demo tape recorded in Stairway Studio, Odense containing 4 songs: "Belief", "Simple man", "Rest in peace" & "The life". The last song was written by Peter. 15 April Private gig in Horne Forsamlingshus. 29 April Vindeballe Kro in front of 200 attendances. Peter gave his first radio interview on SLR. "Belief" & "Rest in peace" got airplay. 3 May PH5 played at a private party in Svendborg. Summer 1989 Stefan Alber joins PH5 2 June PH5 played their final and unforgettable gig at Ringe Festival, the biggest festival in the Northern Europe. A live video was recorded. It's a fact, that Ph5 had everything a good pop/rock band requires. 3 songwriters, a good rhythm arranger and a unique sax. It took them just 6 month for them to reach the closest place to stardom you can get without getting it. The future of the band looked bright and exciting, but sometimes things doesn't go the way they could have. At this time Peter has already written more than 100 songs. Winter 1989 Jake, Ytte and Peter formed Acid Symphony, which was the first (at the time) grunge band. 31 December New Year celebrated at a private party in Aeroeskoebing and Acid Symphony played their 1st gig together. Spring 1990 23 February Acid Symphony rocked Regnbuen in Marstal in front of 70 people. 16 Marts Next up was Marstal Centralskole again. Just 15 month after their first gig with Ph5. Funnies thing to remember was, that a Robert Smith look-alike asked "Can you play something by the Cure(???) After successive gigs Acid Symphony disbanded. One small gig was still to come on "Rise Forsamlingshus". Peter went to Copenhagen and joints different bands like e.g. Green Valley. Jake had already moved to Odense a joint X-tension, though Just like Eddie was soon to follow. 26 May 1995 Sonique (feat. Jakob Dam, Peter Fryd & Robin Pold) gives concert at Gimle, Copenhagen. A live recording was made as well as T-shirts. 27 May Kulcaféen, Copenhagen got rocked by Sonique. Spring 2000 Peter records with a Demo CD with PH5 drummer Ytte and long time friend and bass player from PH5 , Jake, as the only additional musician. Autumn 2008 Jakob Dam and Peter Fryd decided to get back together. The first song was recorded September 27th 2008 at Peter's place and the song "Ding-a-ling" could easily be the first of a string of new tracks from PH5.....who obviously now has returned from the dead. 2nd song is called "Give it all you got" and was released in February 2009
